Welcome to Wentworth Book Share
Please help yourself to a good read !
This book share has been put together by Wentworth Books and Box Team on
behalf of Wentworth Parish Council for our lovely community to use and enjoy.
The idea is to take a book and return it when you’ve finished reading it so we
can all enjoy it. It’s a swap shop too so please feel free to drop your own books
in for others to enjoy..
DVD’s and Jigsaws are also welcome additions – in good order please and no
missing pieces to frustrate us when trying to add that final satisfying piece!
The current books have been divided into sections to make it easier to look
through and we would appreciate it if everyone put them back in the
appropriate section where possible please.
Please keep this shelter as tidy as you found it .. The Team will keep an eye on
it ,keeping it clean, as orderly as we can and replenishing when required but
we would appreciate it if everyone helped keep it tidy also.
As this is an open shelter we have purchased some plastic boxes to hold
books in any possible damp areas – it seems pretty damp free and we will keep
an eye on the situation. Other villages haven’t had many issues and ours is
particularly deep at the sides so should keep everything in good condition.
In the event that we get too many donations, can you please contact myself
Pippa Pearson 0771 728 1898 who will store the excess items. Please don’t
leave anything other than books, jigsaws or DVD’s presently – but ,if you have
further ideas/requests to swap other items, please contact Pippa or any of the
team to discuss. (We may be adding seed packets and similar as we go along
for instance).
