Just a short note to inform you that the Ely 115 Squadron Duathlon (run / cycle / run) is planned for Sunday 23 March 2025 with the cycle route passing through or close to your respective parishes.
The race will start at 8am from Lancaster Way Business Park with a 4km run, around the old airfield, before competitors start the bike leg. I would expect a maximum of 200 competitors passing through the Lancaster Way roundabout from 8:20am with competitors taking about an hour or two to complete the bike course looping back via Witcham along the A142 to the business park but expect everyone to be finished by 11am. Marshals will be deployed on the course at key points and signage will be erected the day before the event and be removed by the day after.
